- Why is the assessment necessary?
Before registering for our classes, the child has to do an assessment with us. The assessment help us to understand your child's level of understanding for the Mathematical concepts required in his/her school which allows our teachers to prepare a learning plan for your child.
Our assessment is free and there is no obligation to register with us after the assessment.

- How are lessons conducted?
During lesson, our teachers introduces and explains the concepts through our carefully crafted worksheets and from time to time, with manipulatives to reinforce certain Mathematical concepts. Corrections from previous homework are also discussed and explained.
We follow a child-centered teaching approach as we understand that every child learn at their own pace. Hence, we plan and prepare learning materials according to each child's learning needs and keep our class sizes small so that the teachers have enough time for each child.

- How does the customized learning approach helps my child?
A customized learning approach works for every child as it allows the stronger students to carry on with his/her own learning without being hindered by the rest, unlike group learning. Also, it helps the weaker students to focus on the concepts they need to work on and build up their foundation at their own pace which makes learning goals more achievable and encouraging.
- When is the right time for my child to start attending lessons at S.A.M?
If your child is 4 and above and is able to count up to 40, we welcome you to bring your child down for a free assessment and to also discuss more about our S.A.M pre-primary programme for your child.
- My child cannot seem to catch up with the topics in school, how can S.A.M help?
We are able to personalise and tailor the lesson and materials to suit each individual needs. Through our careful planning and partnership with parents, most students will be able to catch up with the topics they need to learn in school.
- My child cannot seem to solve problem solving questions, how can S.A.M help?
Apart from critical thinking skills, problem solving also requires good understanding of Mathematical language and concepts.
At S.A.M, we emphasize on the Concrete-Pictorial-Abstract (C.P.A) approach for children to learn new concepts and build on their thinking skills.
Our teachers will work on your child's understanding on the Mathematical language through concrete and pictorial representations before introducing bar model drawing and other strategies for heuristic word problems.

- Are homework necessary for my child?
We encourage a continuity of learning from school to home through our carefully planned materials for each child. These materials are concepts covered during lesson which allows your child to reinforce and apply what they have learned. We can tailor the amount of homework for your child, if necessary.
- How are the S.A.M teachers qualified?
Our teachers are handpicked by our S.A.M centre manager based on their passion in working with children and their knowledge for Math. Most of our teachers comes from the teaching industry who are studying in education related fields and/or already has teaching experiences in Math.

1. Cross the traffic road towards Jcube. Walk through 'J LINK' and take the lift on your RIGHT to Level 3.
2. At Level 3, you will see 'Crestar'. Turn right and keep walking straight until you are in front of the green board (Spring College), turn right from there.
3. Walk through the path and you will see a row of wooden doors. Follow the path.
4. We are located opposite 'ProLearn'.
*Note: We are at the same block as 'CMA', 'Berries' and 'Brainery'.
